All Maintenance agreement customers receive a copy of the Tune up Checklist the service technician performed.

All components that are inspected, checked or measured are given a grade of Good, Attention, or Replace. Any grades rated Replace must be addressed and scheduled IMMEDIATELY for repair to protect the integrity of the system and customers SAFETY.

TuneUp Checklist

Check Run Load Amps. on Evaporator Blower Motor, Condensing Fan Motor and Compressor.

Incorrect amperage is a sign of eminent unit failure and is important to the lifespan of the unit.

Check Thermostat Operation

Something as simple as a failing battery can cause problems. Programable and smart thermostat setting need to be reviewed. Accurate operation will cool your house properly and save you money.

Inspect Evaporator for mold or mildew

A clean Evaporator Coil is essential for efficient operation of each system. And the quality of the air you breathe.

Clear drain line and check operations of primary and secondary float switches.

A clean drain line can prevent your ceiling from getting wet! A clogged dran line can also be a sign that other things are happening.

Check Refrigerant Charge

Low Refrigerant will cause the system to run more and cool less. Too much refrigerate will cause the system to cycling on and off can put a strain on the system.

Clean filter if washable or replace with customers replacement

Dirty filters mean your Air Handler has to work harder and may reduce the lifespan of the unit. And will clog the evaporator coil. Making a multitude of problems.

Check for air leakage in duct work 

Air flow/Duct leakage will make the system inefficient by cooling your attic instead of your living space.

Check integrity of K-Flex on copper piping

Insulation integrity keeps temperature maximized. Outside sun light(UV), heat, and time will deteriorate the K-Flex.

Measure Air Flow/Temperature differential

Air flow/Temp calculations determine duct size efficiency. And Air handler operation.
